First large sculpture
I own a local lumberyard and since the beginning of my art career my lumber customers have always said, "You need to make a piece out of cedar". After hearing this for two years I decided to give it a try. As with all of my work, there were no plans or drawings. I created this piece on what felt right to me. From start to finish I didn't change or need to modify the design. It was a fun challenge to connect the metal to the cedar without seeing any fasteners. This is my first large sculpture.
